
MoabB2 – 1989 Ford Bronco II XLT 4X4
This 1989 Ford Bronco II owned by Josh (AKA MoabB2) from Sandy, Utah has always been one of my favorite Ford Bronco II builds. It’s definitely a nice clean well thought out build that functions as well as it looks.
Here’s an overview
- Eary Bronco Disc brake Dana 44 front axle installed, TRO steering, Yukon 4340 Chromoly axles, Yukon Superjoints, Yukon 4.88, ARB, Cage heavy duty track bar.
- Early Bronco Big Bearing 9-inch rear axle installed, Yukon 31 Spline Forged axles, Yukon 4.88 R&P, ARB, Drums.
- Manual BW1354 transfer case installed, replaced stock BW1350 for more travel in front yoke.
- Wheelbase stretched 1.5-inches in front.
- Front suspension: Cage Early Bronco 3.5-inch coils, Cage Tubular Radius Arms, Duff zinc plated coil towers, Cage nitrogen shocks.
- Rear suspension: Skyjacker 6-inch rear leaf springs, Cage nitrogen shocks, custom traction bars.
- Wheels and tires: 35×13.50×15 BFG Krawlers mounted on 15×10 Cragar Series 397 wheels.
- Custom brake lines and drivelines are being made right now. ARB compressor mounted and custom ARB dash switches underway.
