93 Splash in SC, V8-Swap version

Plan A didn't work for the seat installation. I would have had bolt heads interfering with the slider rollers. I actually damaged the one slider and had to completely disassemble it to straighten out the roller cages. Got it fixed. Anyway, plan B involved a little bit of welding and the seat is about 3/4" higher than it would have been. I still ended up with more headroom than before. Passenger seat is in and it slides forward and back as it should.

OEM Brackets and sliders.

1" angle welded to the slider top pieces. I added some 1" tubing gussets for strength. I don't think havung the angle edge welded in place was strong enough. The seat mountung holes near the center console are centeted over the original slider. The holes on the door side needed to move out roughly 1 3/4". I could center it and might on the driver side. But I think I like the extra room next to the center console.

I don't think the thigh bolsters are quite as tight as I made them sound. It's more that I'm just not used to having them there. I sat in this for a few minutes after getting it installed and I think it's going to be fine.
