Hey guys. I've rebuilt my 88 ranger 2.9 l from top to bottom. My engine is running rich. I've replaced the idle air control valve, the o2, sensor, the pressure regulator twice, New injectors, New coolant sensor, map sensor twice, the computer and I've also shot all the wires. I did fuel pressure leak down test and it stays solid. With the key on run it's at 38psi. While running it's constant 32psi. My oil is getting diluted with fuel. All the vaccum lines are new. I'm running out of ideas here. Any help would be appreciated.

What exact procedure did you follow to size and index your RiNGS?

You tried pulling codes?

I'm not getting any codes at all. I'm thinking it is the eec relay that's at fault. I retired everything that has to do with emissions and put in a new eec with no luck. Having problems finding a relay though.

I gapped the rings to spec and I indexed the rings properly as well.
