Anyone tried this? What all is needed to make them work? Can existing doors be used or do different ones need sourced?

I built a Bronco II once and converted it, but I started with a pair of Ranger doors that already had power windows and locks and then just ran wires to the doors to power them. I would imagine that you could remove the components from doors that already have it and add it to your doors.

You can also find conversion kits online. I just looked and Amazon has them.

I've eyed those conversion kits for the wife's car. Since the windows like to roll themselves down when you hit a pothole, it'd be nice to be able to put them back up without stopping the car to reach the back handle.

I've thought about the aftermarket stuff but I don't know how great it is. If anyone has any reviews on that I am all ears as well.

Granted 40yo Ford junk isn't super confidence inspiring but in 10 years I know what motor I need to find...

And no matter what I want to use Ford switches.
