Super not important update.

Replaced rev 0 of my radio adapter with rev 1.0 (now available in the data sharing thread)

The print adapts the newer "clip in" single din head unit back to the older bolt in Ford head unit used in the later Gen 1 Rangers (and other 80s Ford junk)

It pushes the radio out tighter to the back of the bezel than my previous design

Been doing some research regarding my inconsistent AFR readings at idle and coming to the conclusion that potentially my wideband sensor is fubar'd. I guess the AEM systems are notorious for eating O2s due to the heating element going 100% as soon as key power is applied. Then and condensation in the exhaust that happens to hit it on startup causes a rapid temperature swing and kills them. A local tuner buddy of mine said he puts the AEM on a toggle switch that way he can start it and let it idle for a few seconds before powering on the wideband (the tune isnt running on the AFR table until its up to temp anyway.

So I ordered a fresh Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor to toss in when life slows down a little. I'd like to swap to the high impendence injectors as well.

In unrelated news I did acquire a new toy for around the property and for tractor shows.

Was pretty much turn key when I bought it, but needed a few upgrades. Started with tossing on some diggers on the rear and some vintage Ranger mudflaps I have had for years

Then I added a light kit and of course had to ditch the amber lights

Still needs a strut on the front DR corner.

But all the kids ran this thing for 8hrs straight shuttling people around at my annual party/bonfire last weekend lol

Played around with injectors yesterday and got the truck running like it was before my last trip.

I cleaned up and flow tested a handful of 36lb high impedance injectors I still had stashed from my 4.0 supercharged build. I pulled 3 or 4 sets from GM SC 3800 (L67) junk yard cars back in the day lol

They use the same EV1 connector and are the same height, just a smaller body so they are a direct swap physically.

I had to add a few jumpers to the MegaSquirt since i went from low to high impedance injectors

Its running extremely well over all, but its idling at 11.5:1 AFR and nothing I do in the fuel table seems to lean it up. I took a stab at the dead time (.85ms at 13.2V according to a random google result) when I input the injector size and characteristics, I think I need to shorten it up some or check to see if Im hitting some other limitation due to some incorrect value. Doing some more digging I think that deadtime should be closer to .65 at 13.2 volts
