Hey all,
I just swapped my 03 RWD ranger for an 07 4x4 this year. Loving it.
One thing I miss is having the dome light switch on the actual light. The roll switch/dimmer near the headlight switch isn't accessible by the passenger.
I want to know if there is a way to use an older-style dome light -- that has a switch right on it -- instead of the stock one that can only be reached by the driver. My wife often likes to turn the dome light on herself from the passenger seat to do the stuff she does.
I imagine it would require keeping the driver's roll switch on at all times. Is anyone good with electronics that would know a few things Id have to do?
