The coast to coast gear & banner
Hey TRSers. With the snow starting to melt it means it's finally wheeling time for us 4x4ers and maybe even it's time to take the cover off the lowrider and go for a cruise. I'd just like to take a little bit of time to give another shout out regarding our plans to get a ring gear and TRS banner to travel this great continent of ours. So far, on the Sticky placed in the general discussions forum we have had quite a few members come forward and say they ware willing to help get these items moving. As you can see in the map here --> TRS Member Locations <-- we have a number of members on the east coast, while it thins out quite a bit towards the central states and provinces. The Pacific Northwest region has god a few members in it but we still need to rally together as many people as we can to make sure these items don't end up in a truck box in the middle of some salvage yards for a couple months before someone finally manages to get them.
Now the idea is to get them to touch some Atlantic water and some Pacific water, which I believe is completely doable. Jim Oaks graciously donated a 2'x4' TRS banner to the cause, with the idea that as the banner makes its Journey it will eventually become covered in members signatures, pictures and other landmark items from the locations it has been. Take a picture with it and your RBV, post up and show off. It is a grand venture to expand the camaraderie of TRS, and I would really like to see it pan out.
I am writing this for one simple reason, I would like to make another big call to all TRSers willing to even go a couple miles to move this thing. Check out the thread at the end of this article and post up a location, Every person will help a large amount. The more members involved, the more pictures we get, and more stories to tell. You never know what member might be just a stones throw away. Let's see if we can't fill out some of those empty spots in the center and north.

The big goal is to have these items moving on May 1. Now technically this isn't a physical event but it's a TRS event nonetheless.
Best regards,
