I should probably mention however I do plan on making that scoop functional. I'm thinking about cutting a hole for cooling, if not find a way to make it a proper intake. But that stuff is all later down the line, I have more stuff to do before I can start adding the flashy bits.

if it's functional(and painted to match body)it's not too bad.i just hate plastic crap stuck on with tape......of course my opinion should not have a bearing on what you do with your truck-it's your truck, afterall.

hey man looks awesome! as far as leveling it, you should just get ahold of some washers like I did, they took me and hour to make and install, and thats while sipping on some bubbly :D and if you want to lift the rear, belltech shackles or explorer leaves work great!

I see a rattle can mod coming real quick!. I used flat black and did my fenders bumpers and anything else that needed doing, In an 9 mph wind and it still turned out pretty good. You gotta get rid of the bumper rust and make it and the grill all the same color.

Your point are valid but like you said, it's my truck and if I insist on sticking on plastic crap with tape it's within my RBV liberties to do so:D. And it could be worse, the is a guy running around in town with a stick on scoop that is bright chrome.

hey man looks awesome! as far as leveling it, you should just get ahold of some washers like I did, they took me and hour to make and install, and thats while sipping on some bubbly :D and if you want to lift the rear, belltech shackles or explorer leaves work great!
Funny you should mention it, the shackles do need to be replaced and a set of belltech's is right along the price of factory replacements. That will definitely be happening, and I think I will go for the washer mod.

I see a rattle can mod coming real quick!. I used flat black and did my fenders bumpers and anything else that needed doing, In an 9 mph wind and it still turned out pretty good. You gotta get rid of the bumper rust and make it and the grill all the same color.
The bumper is most certainly on my list of things to paint. I'm not sure what I am going to do with it though. The same grey as the grille would make sense, in which case should I do the hoop in that same colour? Or both black? Or bumper grey, hoop black? These are me ponderings:icon_confused:

I did some more work tonight, I'll post up some pictures in a bit.:icon_thumby:

So I made a stick-on mirror and gave the cab a quick clean. I have to repair the driver's seat so it will be coming out soon. At that point I will just take the passenger's seat out at the same time and give "Jammer" a detailing. I'm drained so no big descriptions today, just the pics in a logical order. There is no before picture of the mirror, so just imagine a smashed Ranger mirror in you head with pieces missing.

The mirror. The precut glass I bought unfortunately is the wrong size, so when I traced it it didn't work so I cut it freehand. Now I have to somehow make it smaller to fit on the passenger side because it is broken too. I may just put the mirror in the position I like and stick that on there. My plan later on is to get a set of the 06+ mirrors for it.

The cleaning: Before

All the stuff I found in that truck. A lot of fuses and change. Plus Chances bulbs & sockets.

Found this is the glovebox:

The clean out pics, before and afters:

Didn't get an extreme amount of stuff done but the floor of that truck is all vacuum up and it doesn't feel bad to sit it the truck anymore. Except for that damned floppy driver's seat.

Weeooo, she cleaned up real purdy-like! I'd say as far as painting goes, black bumper, grille and hoop. Keep it nice and clean and simple, that's how I see it. Just my .02

P.S.- YEAH TIMMIES CUP.
