MAJOR braking problem

Okay, so as you all know, Im building a long travel suspension on my ranger. It's about done, but I cant seem to get my brakes back.

All brand new lines run, new Explorer master cylinder, and new brake hoses. MC was bench bled and installed properly. All fittings are TIGHT. I've tripple checked that.

Problem: It feels like I have great pedal when the vehicle's shut off. There is a steady stream of fluid out of every bleeder valve (NO air bubbles). But, as soon as I turn the truck on, my pedal goes straight to the floor.

Does anybody have a CLUE as to what's going on here? Only thing left to replace is the booster...

Exactly what happened when my brake booster went out on my Mustang. That was very scary.

bleed them 15 more times. I doubt the booster went out all of the sudden. make sure to start with the wheel furthest away from the mc. it will come back I bet.

Is it possible you put the calipers on the wrong sides? (bleeders lower than hose inlet)

Nevermind, I just went and checked...They ARE on the correct sides....I didnt THINK I'd do that....but ya never know.

Any more suggestions?

I spent half an hour bench bleeding that thing. I can garuntee you there's no air in the MC.

I'm going to keep bleeding everything and see what I end up with.

If nothing changes, I'll try a new booster.

This shit has me irritated beyond belief. :flipoff:

Have you pulled the check valve to see if you have vacuum present at the booster? Could just be a check valve.

Also, have you pulled the booster hose and tried it with the engine running?
