Howdy bonjour buenos...
First time ranger-owner-DIYer in Miami, FL, looking to get to know how cars work by means of a '98 XLT 3.0L V6 4x4 5-speed. Blows my mind how many rangers roll around this city, if you watch you can spot 5 a minute easy.
Got dragged on the buying price but after diving into this site n reading up on some stories, seems like it was a worthy buy. Anyhow I'm committed to cleaning her up myself and getting a home automotive education along the way. All about the learning.
There's an oil leak dripping off the transmission and the clutch has been slipping since I bought it (figured a rear main seal), and a nice P1506 code lit up yesterday. Will be pooling the threads to see what info you all have to shed some light, hoping to dive into the clutch job in the next few weeks.
Thanks for the welcome, keep em rollin'
