SSM 50443   2019-2022 Ford Ranger – Rear Driveshaft Yokes Appear Out Of Alignment/Phase

2019-2022 Ford Ranger vehicles equipped with a 2-piece driveshaft that has a slip yoke in the rear driveshaft will appear to have the front and rear yokes out of phase by about 15 degrees. This is a normal appearance and considered design intent for noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) purposes and no repairs should be attempted for this condition. Do not submit a warranty claim for this condition.
