How do I fix the slack here? It has so much slack, It clanks while driving over
small bumps.

Rotational slack? Or up & down (or side-side) slack?

If rotational, and you have a worn limited slip diff, replacing the L/S clutches may tighten it up, as this would take out much of the slop between the spider/side gears.

I just check it again, and it is rotational slack. I just replaced the
carrier bearing and after if put everything back in I thought the "Clank"
would go away. Turns out, it's that diff. I'll go look up and see how much it costs for the L/S clutches. Thanks for your help sir.

Edit: It has rotational and side-side slack! Rotational slack is not as bad as the side-side slack though.

Your pinion preload is off, messing with pinion depth thus making the backlash in the gear set to large, rotational slack. And the outer pinion bearing not seating in the race properly, side to side slack. A new crush sleeve is needed and the pinion preload needs to be set again.

Thanks guys, I'm going to order some parts tomorrow.
