I have a question concerning steel rims for my Ranger.

I currently have a 2009 Sport 4x4 with factory 16" rims. I am looking to get some steel rims for the winter and was wondering about the fitment of 15" steel wheels. We previously had a 2004 V6 Mustang and I still have the 15" winter steel wheels from that car. Would these fit the Ranger? It appears that the factory 16" 5 spoke that came on the Mustang (40th anniversary edition) will fit our trucks (from the information posted on the board) and figured that if the 15" fit the car it would fit the truck. Does anyone know if this is possible? Figured I would ask to see before I make the 2 hour run to the parents house to get a set of wheels that might not fit the truck.

Thanks for all your help.

as long as the back spacing isnt an issue then the only thing i can see having a problem with is a clearance issue between the brake components and the inside of the wheel.

Backspacing and if the rim is wide enough to accommodate a winter tire for your truck.
