Can anyone give me any info on the max tire/rim diameter along with max. Wheel width I can put on this truck without rubbing issues. I’ve seen as far as wheel diameter 26.5” as max. But is that a factory suggestion or real world measurement. Right now it’s stock ride height but I may do the 3” drop beams down the road. Any help would be appreciated I’m having a really hard time getting clarity on this.
I bought this truck off my son and he liked the pre-runner look. I tried to tell him to look at wheel offset/size but he’s 18 and didn’t listen. So , of course they rub on the front so I had to put on the lift coils which works ok. I’m going to use it as my daily so I’m dropping it back down to stock. I’m going to sell these rims and tires which are brand new and get something that fits.

I’m confused on how it says the stock offset on a 15x7 wheel is 4.5 but when you go down to aftermarket wheel sizes for the same wheel it says 3.75.

Many aftermarket wheels will change things a little bit so the wheel sticks out a little farther. Gives the vehicle a wider more aggressive look that some aftermarket wheels have.

4.5 and 3.75 are the backspacing measurements.
if both wheels are the same width but different backspace they will also have different offsets.

if 4.5 is stock, 3.75 will push the wheel out 3/4 inch.

great looking Ranger. I'm in the rust belt, not many/any 92s still on the road in these parts.

I lived in the Detroit area for most my life so I know about that. We have been in Arizona about 5 years. I’ll tell you what, the sheet metal stays solid but paint, interior and everything else get baked to death . My 96 e-150 conversion van panels on the front doors warped from the heat. I’m in a constant battle, trying to keep the heat from destroying stuff.
