we are still trying to figure out how to reconnect the shock , we are gonna attack the driver side spring on monday , hopefully all goes well

the passenger side shaft took 2 prybars , a can of PB blaster , a set of troches and a 4 lb hand sledge to get out :shok:

hopefully you don't mean to get it out of the diff....if so.....ouch....

there is a C-clip that holds the passenger side in...have to remove the diff from the beam to remove it correctly....

i was talking the stub shaft from the other half that goes into the diff , gotta love NY rust , and when i put wehigh on that coil it should compress enough for me to hook my shock and sway bar back up , right ? it shouldnt screw my front end up too badly

yeah, when ya jack the beam up it will be easy to line up the shock and swaybar to remount them...

that is what i figured , i know that the 132XS springs do not give you a true 2 inches of lift , but it should look a little better once i got it finished up , the teacher was trying to tell me that the front is gonna be way high and whatr not , but i think it should look decent and once they adjust my camber when they align it it will all be good , but i know over spring break i am gonna put alittle more into her , i saved enough the past 4 weeks and i have enough coming back from my taxes that i am gonna get Explorer leaves , 6400 shackles and a hurst shifter , i am gonna swap the leaves and shackles in and get rid of the stock blocks

here she is all finished , still needs to be aligned though , gettin that done saturday , i did a basic toe adjustment using a tape measure just to make it driveable till saturday , i measured the front and rear floor to wheel opening height , 34.5" front , 35" rear , i am pretty happy with the results

thanks slo-vo , i have big plans for her over spring break , once i get my tax refund in my account i will start ordering parts , the parts list for the spring break work is

  • Explorer Leaves
  • Belltech 6400 Shackles
  • Hurst Shifter
  • 1-Piece D-Shaft
  • FX4 Level 2 T-case Shifter (?)

i am gonna get some stuff done and out of the way , still unsure if i am gonna do my manual T-case Swap at that point , have yet to figure out if a L2 t-case shifter will work on a BW1350M case

and for old times sake , the one i still kick myself in the ass for selling :annoyed: :buttkick:
