Looks like 1.3 on Chan 1 and 1.4 on Chan 20? If so, that's damn good. Where did you hook the power and ground up to?

i got the pics mixed up , it is 1.5 on ch 1 , 1.4 on ch 20 and 1.3 on ch 40

the power is hooked to an unused fuse spot in the fuse panel , ground is hooked to one of the bolts right next to the fuse panel

that is what i figured , i am having an issue of i cannot hear anyone unless i kill the Squelch and crank the RF Gain :dunno::dunno:

Which fuse on the panel did you push the power wire into? I put a spade connector on the end and put the ground on one of the fuse panel mounting bracket bolts. I'm still unsure which to use for the power though.

i used number 30 , it is hot with the key on , so it acts as a safeguard if i leave the radio on by accident , and i did the same with the spade connector

yea , i just like having a stupid-proof setup , though the problem that is bugging me now it the Squelch/RF Gain issue , i hate the sound of the static , but i cant hear anything if i turn the squelch up and the gain down :dunno: :annoyed:

Dunno what to tell you. I just calibrated my SWR and it's between 2-3 on Chan 40 but it's over 3 on 1 and 20. LOL
