I'm doing a v-8 swap in my 92 ranger 2wd 5.0-354 stroker with an aod. I was going to use some tri-y headers from my 86 ranger that i made work with an aod but they dont look like they will fit that good on this one. I'm looking for a full length hp header, kinda thinking of making my own so they fit where i want them.:icon_welder: thanks all

making them custom that way you know they will fit then just get some header wrap to make them all purdy like. :D

anyone ever run block hugger headers on a ranger v8 swap?? summitt has some for sale.

Im running cast manifolds that came on my original five o and they fit perfectly. The left side dumps straight down and the right side angles back. With my stroker i have a feeling they are restrictive but custom headers will come next.

mine are from hedman driverside goes toward the back and pass side goes straight down to clear the starter like a hugger.there for ranger swaps

i have a 5.0/ AOD in my 84 Ranger and Mustang Shorties work good, some cutting of the pass upper frame rail will most likely be needed but thats all that i had to do.

Mine are Hedman's too. Very close tolerance on the steering shaft, but it fits.

the guys running headman swap headers, do they have oval or retangle ports?

Are the headman swap headers sorta restrictive because mine look like they are.

is there any sbf heads that have oval ports? i was looking at headers and the ford racing f-150 5.0l headers look like they might dump in the right place.

some of the old bassini 150's work.

are you using an a4 block? 100 over?

is all the head work done so you know just what you need for headers?

is anyone running the james duff headers? if so how do they fit/ work?

I've got a 1995 F-150 5.0 roller block with a 354 stroker crank, its a touch longer than 347, i think its bored 30 over. Right now its got the stock heads but they were all redone to work with my cam. I ran out of money and didnt get the heads i wanted but i got the short block done like i wanted. I tryed some try-y headers of my old ranger but they won't fit this how i want.
