Correct! And a set of fox coilovers articulates much better than v8 explorer torsion bars with rough country leveling keys.

Also, the farticulation is a winter project if I can ever find a set of FX4 buckets...

Electro tank back in full swing... this is just electrolysis, no sandblasting. Thing was solid scale and por 15 (ha...) when I started.

Not too shabby.

The powder coating I did, however...

You can, but it is extremely wimpy.

I started with a battery charger, then moved on to a benchtop power supply, and then finally a welder. The thing runs so much juice to the tank that it will heat up and boil off a lot of the water.

The other big modification that I made was that I use carbon plates instead of steel as my sacrificial anode. Carbon tends to last a lot longer, you don't wind up with orange gunk everywhere, and it leaves black carbon residue which is totally inert on the parts so you don't have to worry about getting it completely clean before you paint or powder coat. The drawback is carbon requires a lot more juice due to it only being a semiconductor, but eBay welders are like $75 and Supply more than enough amperage on the lowest setting

What amperage for what size tank?
A decade ago I made one and used a dumb battery charger. Worked good for the size. Now I use vinegar for small stuff.
