Not really sure what that thing controls, but I'll fix it anyway

HVAC controls. It holds vacuum so they still work when there is little or no engune vacuum. Should be a check valve between the manifold and the reservoir.

But, a vacuum leak isn't good anyway. Could be affecting those idle trims.

I shoved some vacuum caps on the breaks for now. Grabbing a piece of splice tube to put a patch on it as well.

I'm fairly sure I hear another vacuum hiss somewhere as well. Going to hook up the smoke machine as it's annoying.

You would think a vacuum leak would set my trims positive. Hm.

It is fun when you do something to a vehicle and there is a marked improvement afterwards.
