okay, basics: white 1998 ranger, supercab, 4x4, 4.0 OHV, 3.73 L/S. i picked this truck up about three months ago for $5186 including tax and title. it had about 136,000 miles on it, i'm at 140,000 right now. i work on my vehicles obsessively and i'm never happy until my trucks look and run exactly how i want it to :icon_twisted:

okay, pictures of work so far :icon_thumby:

"home depot" modded grille, painted black, threw some leftover mesh behind the fog light inlets (the fog lights were all caddywampus when i got it), smoked amber lenses.

smoked tail lights, left the reverse lights clear for an extra style touch :D, nifty smoked plate cover i found at auto zone too.

how it's sitting right now with the cranked torsion keys. 15% tint on the driver window, passenger window, and the strip across the windshield. painted the factory fender flares black for an extra touch there, too.

4 foot fiberglass barjan CB antenner :icon_thumby: back window is limo tint as well as the two rear seat windows.

neat camo FX4 decals i couldn't stop myself from buying even though mine is too elderly to be an FX4 :bawling: you can see where the brand new flowmaster 40 series is dumped off at too.

31" nankangs on 15" pacer wheels.

pioneer HU hooked up to a seat of 280W pioneer speakers. it's got a little bumpbump.

cobra 19 CB/PA :)

mossy oak wrapped armrests.

future plans: 3-4" suspension lift, 33" BFG A/Ts, 4.10 gears, exploder seats and center console, some more mossy oak wrapped interior pieces, some other knickknacks here and there :icon_thumby:

Something I haven't seen with the armrests, looks pretty cool!

thanks, man. i bought two yards of that fabric so i've got plenty left to mess around with. problem is just finding time between working and going to college full time.

how about mossy oak headliner? Now that would look real good with the armrests.

i'm figuring that too. plus my headliner isn't in too good of shape as it is now.

I like it. Looks good and all the little details add up really nice, One thing that would bug me is the signal light alignment and the bumper being a bit low and tilted forward(front). but those are just minor details I picked out.

Looks good and a really good start.

yeah, that bothers me too. i know for a fact that my truck has been in at least one accident before, the entire bed as well as the driver door are replacements and i've been wondering if there wasnt some front end damage that they just kinda patched up without doing it right.

well, the cheap lift idea fell through (as half-expected lol) so for the time being, i'm turning my attention to the other things on my to do list.

next major addition will probably be a light bar and a pair of KCs on it. maybe HIDs? there's a local shop that does HID conversions on any vehicle for i believe $119. input would be helpful, fellas.

looks really nice man!!
i want fender flares now lol
nice arm rests, good idea.
u should try to fix the bottom part, seems a bit loose(the arm rest)
i took out mine, added some glue on the rubber cover and tied it with some straps all around till the glue dried. that fixed the loose rubber on the bottom.

you know, i actually tried that before i wrapped the mossy oak on them. i tried some hot glue on the base of the rubber and then tried to press and hold it back on but it just didn't want to hold. i was too anxious to get done with the wrapping so i said screw it, it's gonna look badass and unique either damn way lol

PS: your truck would look badass with black fender flares. that would tie in real nice to the brush guard and bumper.

i don't care what the others say, white rangers with black accents is the way to go. looks clean, yet rugged. by the way, i'm not sure if i already told you, i really like the full bruch guard on your truck. normally, i don't like the headlight guards on a truck, but for whatever reason, i really do like it on yours. keep up the good work, brother :icon_thumby:

i'm doing my best, man. since i'm putting off the lift, i'm figuring my next step is the westin light bar with a pair of KC's is my next step.

that^^^ with a couple of KC lamps would definitely bring my front end together after i get the factory valence painted black, eh?
