Yes, it was called welding the axles together, been around a long long time, fell out of favour when roads started to be paved, lol

3000 B.C. was the oldest example of "welding", i.e. hammering metal together after heating

I think about this frequently..

So much of this country was discovered/settled/built by the model-t..

Yet every soccer mom who lives in a location where it might snow 1/2" a year absolutely NEEDS a giant 4x4 lol.
Actually, that's not true. Most of the USA was discovered and built by covered wagon. Usually pulled by a team of oxen.

Discovered yes...built? No. It was largely built by internal combustion

You have died of dysentery.

Really the steam locomotive is what allowed most of the early expansion and building. They were the first means to get people and supplies across the country quickly, then the telegraph made it able to communicate across the nation quickly.. The covered wagons dis the claiming and settling. The model T Era brought the peak of the industrial revolution.

it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
In sand is where the older ones do better, traction control on the new ones kills your momentum and gets you stuck, also the low profile tires on most new vehicles do terrible in the sand when aired down, plus they are heavier, which makes it even worse.

you are comparing standard traction control. and for sure.. that sux...

i am referring to something different.

trail biased traction control is a different animal.

when you are stuck in a conventional situation....it can drive you out.

and sure...it is not 100 percent.....but also its good enough....that is not a debate topic.
