Hi I have a 1995 Ford Aerostar All Wheel Drive 4.0Litre XLT model minivan and the transmission is making grinding noises. I went to MisterTransmission and they said 1500$ to 2200$ to fix it. I said I only paid a 1000$ for the van, I'm not fixing it but it is in amazing shape! Nobody even wants to give me a reasonable amount of money for the whole thing so I decided to part it off. I am wondering which parts will fit on my 1994 Ford Ranger XLT?
I already know the tires and battery will fit no problem. They both have the V6 4.0L motor but can they be swapped? Which other parts would be interchangeable to my Ranger? Thanks to anyone who can help shed some light!

Pretty much just the engine. The rearend would fit once you cut off all the suspension tabs and weld leafspring perches to it. Those ones have 8.8 rears, but I don't know their spline count.

Its a shame you don't want to fix it, you don't see Aerostars much anymore because they all rusted out so bad (at least up north).

The grille can be swapped in with minimal fuss. It looks pretty cool and you don't see them all over the place.
