76 isn't the cheapest brand up here, but at times their pricing is in line with ARCO. Also, it really seems like my truck runs very good on 76 gas.
We don't have 76 or Arco. We have Sunoco, Irving, Mobil, Citgo from the Venezuelan communists, some no name generic stations with a sign that just says "GAS", and a few Exxons. Texaco seems to have disappeared. Our last Gulf station is now Citgo. In the 70's when I worked for a Sunoco station, we could accept Irving credit cards and thought of Irving(incorrectly) as Canadian Sunoco. There were no Irving stations here then but they're every where now. Mr. Irving's kid goes to Dartmouth College and used to bring his Escape to us for service. There's a Sheetz in Concord about 50 miles south of here.

Same here.... not cheap, truck likes it. Arco is cheap here, and truck doesn't like it.

Mine runs fine on ARCO, but it idles like it is misfiring when it is cold. It's done that since it was new. I had the dealership check it and emissions were clean at idle. It does it on 76 gas, but not nearly as much and it goes away sooner as the engine warms up. It's smooth when warmed up and the weather is warm. Someone else mentioned that their Duratec did the same thing, so maybe it is just a normal charactersistic of that engine.

Not likely to actually happen in your lifetime
Several states jumped on the Washington State band wagon to say they will ban sales of ICE by 2030

None are saying where they plan on getting the electrical power to charge all the EVs, or even if EV cars/trucks can be made fast enough to replace all the new car/truck sales in 2030

Feds were trying to target 2035 as the 0 emissions year for new cars/trucks

Don't see how it could be done in practical terms, looks good in print though, lol

Its not hard to do the math on how many gallons of gas are used per day in the US and then put that into kilo watt hours(kWh) of energy needed to move EV around the same
Generally 1 gallon of gasoline is equivalent to 33kWh in energy terms
A Tesla needs 1 kWh to go 2.5miles, so 10kWh for 25mile trip, but that's also 80miles(33kWh) a GALLON for ICE, so way more efficient
Lighter EV like a Leaf boast almost 5miles per kWh

There is just not enough electricity available or even "in the works" to be on-line by 2030, especially if coal power plants are being taken off-line

Incorrect, the Libs think that if you pass a law mandating something then it just happens.
They will still have their bulletproof Suburbans and heat and A/C in their houses, just not me and you.

Yes, intellectuals are a pain in that respect, "just do it, don't bother me with details"
Most just stay in university or should, which is a good place for them, reality at arms length

Liberals are the "intellectual party", problem is they think "intellectual" is a good thing, because that's what they were taught in university by....................an intellectual, lol
The joke about not being able to change a flat tire............the tire shouldn't be flat that's the problem, not changing it
