So.... First time here. Helping my son replace the door handle/cables on the rear passenger door of a 4 door Ranger Super Cab. It's in the side of the door and the new Ford handle has a cable to the upper latch and cable and latch to the bottom. My question is; In order to remove the bottom latch as well as the cover to the upper latch (to be able to hook cable to latch) I need a 6 point star (allen wrench)???
Problem is...... I've tried every metric and standard 6 pointer I have and none fit. Is this a special size?? Or is there a special tool??
The bolts in question are Ford PN's N8071699-5102 &
N811471-5100.
I really don't want to strip these out..... Mahalo from Hawaii!!
