TRS Roundup Checklist?

Welll...

Looks like I may need coil buckets... one has broke partially loose.
New shocks.
If I have some decent money floating around after new furnace/ ac and replacing the Dodge Charger that I totalled, maybe a new stereo that has bluetooth capability for hands free phone operation and music playing

What I have done in the past 6 months:
New radiator
new water pump
new battery
new starter
new 31" tires

I am ready for this... (at least after I fix the coil buckets lol)

Pish, the floor saga continues. Torque box is fixed and pan is half welded in. 30's-40's and snow is still in the freaking forecast though.

I have been kicking butt and taking names on mine, how is everyone else's projects going?

A week and a half out, one more weekend to go... how we doin' out there?

I have a TON of stupid little pidley crap to do yet. Install front driveshaft, another 12v charger port, round up camping stuff etc.

I can't seem to get squat done. Between my wife working late and a 4 year old, my accomplishment for the last week is ordering parts. Worst case, I'll show up in a Subaru Forester.

I'm currently paring down my list to the "must do" items. Just ran out of time. I'll get camping stuff ready, replace brake hoses on my tow vehicle, wash both trucks, fix a leak in my air compressor system and decide what parts, pieces, tools and recovery items to bring. Then get it all packed and loaded.

Wanted to do ball joints, upper control arms, lowering/leveling kit and new wheels and tires on the tow vehicle (F150). But that just isn't going to happen unless I get fired tomorrow and end up with a bunch of time off.

need to put cap on ranger trailer and make it into a camper, lights are all good to go, even put on a license plate light it never did have and if time/weather permits I want to paint it. Ranger itself is ready to go, I do wish I had cruise control. this will be the 2nd long trip Ive took it on (first was to lake erie earlier this summer) and I do miss having cruise control.

Well, I haven't been able to touch my Mounty project since this started to come about. So I was just going to buy a beater and roll with it.

So I bought a 96 F-150 to beat around in. But I havnt been able to even get that reliable enough.
Thursday I am going to grab another truck. I should be able to make something work between the 2! lol

I repaired my lost caliper bolt, added grab handles on the roof cage, swapped out the passenger side harnesses. Just need to fix a loose wire on one of the fans and I should be good to go. I'd love to switch out my beadlock rings to match, but that's probably not going to happen

Bought a new tent today. My old one is too big to set up on my car trailer the way I want to do it. Also got a new air mattress and installed new bungee cords around the edge of my shade canopy. Tomorrow is the day for getting my tow vehicle ready for the trip. Got my new tires and rims mounted and balanced for that this morning.

Chasing a vibration now, changed the rear output shaft bearing but I am not overly optimistic the old one was that bad.

Like roughly 3k+ rpm under hard acceleration. Ease into it to whatever rpm just fine. Let up on the gas and it quits immediately.

Angle thing on my phone says pinion angle is perfect. Kind of an irritating thing.

Well, a lot of things I wanted done aren’t going to happen. Right this moment half of the motor for the choptop is on a cart in my mechanics garage, lmao. Going to be a busy week

Did you ever get your fuzzy dice? Pulled a set from the JY. Can donate.

Knew I forgot something.
I got ya covered buddy. I'll toss em in. These ones are on me.

Looks like a good set. Low miles, our of a southern car, looks like an old guy special. One has a messed up dot, but hey, better than not having a set. Should be pretty easy to install, even in a campground. ??
