As much as I hate to... I think I'm going to have to bail.
Most of my checklist is complete. If I skip a few not-so-critical things, all that is left is to give the one tie rod end adjusting sleeve a couple turns and to hook up and go. Dad gave a hand for awhile cleaning up a few things and I managed to take care of the brake issue. Turns out that for whatever reason I didn't get some of the fittings quite tight when I replaced a bunch of the brake lines. Got a front tow hook on, took it down the street and back, adjusted the front bumper to give me a little more tire clearance, greased everything, attached my e-brake bracket, filled the front diff with fluid, fixed a hub, took care of a power steering issue, replaced a battery terminal, patched and tubed my spare tire, etc.
Bad news is, I figure I'd have to leave here by 6 at the absolute latest. And it'd take me at least an hour to get ready to pull out of here (dig the tow bar out or hook up the trailer and load up and fix the tie rod end). Much as I really wanted to go, I'm thinking it might be better for me to sit this one out and be ready if we do a fall run. Give me some time to work the bugs out and get everything ready to go.
