20k of winch is only useful if you have an anchor point for. Last weekend, winches were dragging the wrong truck and bending trees... :icon_rofl:

But then again, that guy was stuck so deep he had 8" of goop on top of his 38's. :icon_thumby:

That also happend because he was pulling the other truck sideways and it had boggers so no real traction sideways.

Thats why I am supporting him. And I got stuck because I no longer had that shaft... :thefinger:

I only do 50 pt turns. Pivioting on trees helps.

20k of which power.. oh man. This might not be good.

I too pivot on trees. I look like a game of pinball goin through the woods when my tires bounce off stuff. My bronco has developed the "rasin" look on the body over the years. lol

I now have sliders.....Should cut down the ole' turning radius.lol

Is anyone camping, or is everyone heading home afterwards?

EDIT: I just checked the forecast and now it says a 40% chance during the day and 80% at night.

I am heading home too. Probably around 8pm. My dog sitter fell through.

i'll always have a soft spot for wellsville. the hill climbs are great there. Rausch is all rocks basically

the crazy thing about rausch is that it's all clean. I've never really seen much of any garbage around the trails. the whole weekend we saw 1 piece of "litter" - and it was a drive shaft boot that had broken and someone probably didn't have any idea.

yeah my hippy side gets angry when i am at wellsville and see all the trash. i always pick up my camp area and the trash people left behind. i might go down there one weekend and just collect cans for a weekend and make a couple hundred bucks lol

i am out for the trip guys :(. dd broke down and a ton of bills just fell on me this week. ugh i wanted to go so bad. truck was ready to go. but if anyone wants to hit up wellsville july 4-7 i will be down there.

badexplorer seth is going to pick up that driveshaft off you for me and get it to me in the next couple weeks. thanks again for getting the driveshaft to me.

I will most likely not be staying the night. If I do, it'll be a last minute decision and I'll be sleeping in my truck (tent broke on me)

I'll be heading home, I'll follow Brad out.

I dumped another bottle of STP oil treatment in today, this thing better hold oil pressure, I want to wheel for longer than an hour!

I have an engine lined up, but its high mileage, not 210k like what I got, but I guess it burns oil just like mine, so I'm still looking.

We're getting down to the wire....

I put together a checklist this morning for the choptop. I've managed to work through a number of points, but there's still a brake issue. The pedal goes WAAAAAYYYY down. The brakes grab and I can't find a leak, but it just doesn't feel right. Going back out in a minute to try bleeding them again and searching again for a leak. If I can't get at least that resolved, I probably will not be attending.

If I do make it out there, I will probably not be camping. I originally wanted to camp out, but I didn't manage to get the choptop squared away enough for my dog and he has a real problem with separation anxiety. I can be gone the whole day, but if I don't come home that night he gets upset. With no comfortable spot for him in the choptop (the passenger seat is decidedly too small for him), there isn't much point in bringing him.

try cracking the lines at the master cylinder, there could be some air trapped up there. Then bleed it normally through the calipers. Also..does it still have rear abs? Could have air trapped in that, I think those have a bleeder on them.

Well I'm loaded and ready. Pulling out tomorrow at 6:30.
