TRS 2013 Fall Roundup

Rausch creek park in PA. Sept-oct.

Missouri is a bit if a haul for me.

Sent from my iPhone.

That's 1,000 miles. If it's held at SMORR, I'd still be traveling 700 miles. Most events surround the IL, OH, PA, TN area.

SMORR- South Missouri Off-Road Ranch

September- October

www.SMORR.net

This is my vote. The OK guys go there frequently, too.

Yeah, to get there, but why would you bring a lowered truck to an off-road park?

Not everyone goes higher, and he'd sit passenger. It's still a Ranger meet, nonetheless, right?

i like night wheeling, i like being loud as i want til 4 am. i like not having to wear a seat belt if i dont feel like it. i like not paying to go wheeling lol.

I don't mind paying. Especially if I'm getting secure parking, a restroom and concession area.

I'm with you on the night wheeling. I haven't done any in years. The last place was Wellsville. The only other place I know I could night wheel is Harlan Kentucky. I'm thinking about ditching my halogen off-road lights for slimmer LED ones, but not sure how much I'd use them.

i have stock head lights :( but rigid industries makes some pretty nice led lights. i was eyeing a pair of their lights til i can afford some super badass lights. anyone see those arb intensity lights? oh man i want myself some of those lol.

Harlan is an interesting place. Think Wellsville - come and go as you want anytime night or day, but the town has parking areas for you to park your tow rig. You can drive anything on the streets there as long as you obey the traffic laws. The problem is that it seems most of the members here that hit the trails are generally from the mid-west / northeast.

Being only 2WD I can't go too crazy, except in the desert. There are some places I can handle though, like I said, it's dry usually in Texas, which is a bonus for me.

You'll do fine. I did at Bundy. Just no crawling in the miniature ravine thingys. Stick with the other smaller built trucks and you'll be fine.

If you plan on bringing a 2wd....then plan on riding shotgun with someone on the trails.

Id rather wheel than spend half the day helping drag a 2wd through places it shouldn't be.

Just my opinion...

Ah. This I did not know...

agreed.

I'm not afraid of east of the Mississippi! It's just one hell of a long haul from Oklahoma. I would like to see something a little more centrally located. SuperLift OffRoad Park in Hot Springs, SMORR in Missouri, Disney or Clayton in Oklahoma or maybe something in Texass or Kansass? My BII is in pieces right now but my plan is to have it going by late summer. Traveling for me will depend on $$ just like everyone else. Just signed my furlough letter Monday so starting in July I'm going to have every Friday off till the end of September. I'm going to enjoy the time off but will hate missing the 16 hours on my paycheck!! Please tell your president thanks! NOT.
