What was your 1st car?

1971 Ford Maverick with a 6 banger and hail damage (happened on the car lot the night I bought the car). I wish I had that care back to restore.

1976 Plymouth Volare with a Slant 6. I bought it when I was 15 for $75, only 70K miles, should have never sold it.

First Ford was my '88 Ranger XLT long bed, I've had it for about 8 years now. I don't care what goes, it can and will be fixed!

My Very First Car was a 1966 Chevy Caprice 4dr Hardtop

It had a back seat that could accomodate the entire cheerleading squad
and a 395/350hp engine that made it just about the quickest car in town....

It had an ENORMOUS appetite for 104octane leaded gas, but in return
when the secondaries opened there was this enormous sucking sound
that could suck Amoco cards from every wallet within half a mile.

I replaced it with a '67 Plymouth Valiant that all my friends called "Violent"
For good reason... In that I had an insanely builtup six cylinder that was as
much fun as Any V8 I've ever owned, but because the car was IDENTICAL
(in outside appearance) to the fleet cars used by the local gas company (PSE&G) it was "invisible", to the local police.
but the suspension brakes and tires had ZERO relationship to anything
that the factory would have put under the car... I actually had bigger brakes
than my Uncle had in his 440Daytona (with the big wing).

I went from that to a Dart-GTX 340 that was anything but subtle.
At one point I actually had two GTX Darts, they were even painted
the same factory metallic red.

1981 Chrysler LeBaron! The thing did me well for a little while but then one day I got T-boned buy a guy who was doing 90mph in a 45! The funny thing is that my passenger would have probably died if she WAS wearing her seatbelt. When the guy came flying around the bend and she realized that there was no possible way that I was going to accelerate the thing in time to avoid him then she jumped into my lap right as the whole passenger side caved in. No matter how much of a piece of junk it is, it really sucks when you see your first car spread out across the highway in several pieces and just stand there watching as firefighters are shoveling the remains of your car into the passenger compartment. The only good thing to it is the fact that you're still alive.

My first car was a '72 Demon. It was a 6cyl car and had a huge hole in the block behind the starter. I bought a 318 k frame and a 360. The car never got finished.
My first car that I drove was a Pinto. I've had one ever since. My first 4x4 was also a Pinto!

Aww the Pinto, the Pinto deserves more credit them most people are willing to give it.

1988 Ford Bronco II XLT, with a freshly rebuilt transmission and a rebuilt Jasper engine. When I got it the color scheme was black with silver trim along the bottom and the previous owner had backed into a light pole with the tire mount out so the rear passenger side quarter panel was caved it. I got that fixed and got her painted all black even before the truck itself was paid off. For over four year this truck never let me down. I was assigned to Germany in the Army and put the truck in my mother’s charge, big mistake. When I got back she had not only allow it to set up for two years without being started, but she had also sold it and I had to get it going for the guy.

My first was a '94 Taurus SHO, midnight blue. I blew the transmission before I had my license. Any ways now I have my sexy '99 ranger that I never want to get rid of.

First vehicle I learned on was a 1966 Chevy C-30 Custom Camper with a 283 and a 4 speed. My dad's truck, still sitting in his driveway awaiting restoration. Brakes barely work but damn if that motor doesn't turn over everytime.

My first actual vehicle was a 99 Chevy Blazer 4.3L. Torquey little bastard. Threw a K&N intake on it (I know, sue me) and Gibson catback and ran it til I got my Ranger last December. My brother drove it for a while then he got a Cadillac and now it sits in the driveway awaiting A/C repair before getting sold. Going to miss that thing. Aside from 2 sticky brake calipers it never let me down.

82 Camaro. 400sb, trick flow twisted wedge heads, nice .700 lift crane cams, twin holly 600's. A bunch of other stuff that my gramps did for me. Car lasted 6 months before I could no longer afford to repair the stuff that engine destroyed. 3 rear-ends, twisted the t-tops out of the roof, twice. First trans made it 2 months, switched to a manual.

1st- '87 dodge lancer 4-banger/auto. my dad and i rebuilt the bottom end (spun bearings) before i could drive it. died a yr. or 2 later.
2nd- '91 dodge shadow 4-banger/auto. basically same car, diff. body style. POS nonetheless. died.
3rd- (1st ford although my whole family has driven fords since i can remember) '89 mustang 4-banger/5-speed. i love mustangs, but it's just not a mustang without a v8. still a fun car though.
4th- '94 taurus 3.0l vulcan v6/auto. my brother gave it to me when he moved to cali. this car was a stalwart road tripper. i drove it all over the place with barely any issues. sold it to buy my ranger.

1972 Land Rover. Ran great but the body and frame were shot. When it rained I took a shower through the floor boards.

In high school I drove by my parents '69 f-100, 3 on the tree, straight six. I believe it was a 240ci, 2wd, one legged power beast. It was lime green. vinyl seats and no radio.

Next car I was allowed to drive was a '79 Fairmont station wagon. It had a 300 straight six, 3 speed with overdrive manual transmission. Vinyl seats, vinyl headliner and an AM radio. It was a beautiful shade of sky blue. My friend refereed to it as the "fagmont". The only positive thing about that car was the station wagon aspect. My friends in their cameros and GTOs at the drive in and me in a station wagon. If I could actually get a girl to step into that thing then their was plenty of room in the back.

The first car that I owned was a '69 Rambler American. My Grandmother was no longer allowed to drive and I got her car. It was free and I still think I was ripped off.

My first vehicle was an 89 ford ranger reg cab long bed 4x4 2.9 auto. Paid 4400 bucks for it with only 44 thousand original miles back in 02. Repainted (NO BONDO ANYWHERE) 99 dodge viper metallic blue in late 02. Put a 3 inch body lift on it,purchased a 4 inch suspension lift,had the rear done thencoming home from a then G/F's house hit a patch of ice and she went sideways and rolled bout 3 times down into a ditch in early feb of 03. sold it for 500 bucks after the wreck(still ran great after the wreck too, How i miss that truck so much)
Then i bought what i have currently still, a 1993 Ford ranger splash reg cab 4x4 3.0 5spd with either a 4 inch lift or 6inch lift still not sure, but she clears 36 inch swampers
then i bought a Red 01 ext cab 3.0 auto 4x4 ranger, put on a 3 inch body lift 33x12.50 firestone M/Ts on black 15x10 steelies, (traded it for what i drive now) someguy in Z-ville ohio is driving it, makes me sick everytime i see it, i wish i'da kept that truck.
Now i've got a 01 f-350 4x4 PSD reg cab long bed

Also got a 87 mustang gt(my project car)
