What was your 1st car?

mine was a 75 trans am with a 455 and a 4 speed. a lady totaled it out behind the high school. then i bought a 78 mustang II cobra with a 302 and a 4 speed. i miss that car. wish i could find one for the 20 year class reunion next year

1400cc with a 4 on the floor and live rear axle.i bought an 82 glc right out of highschool and it great, painted her black with two fat red shelby stripes down the car.was probably the only glc in america painted like that,my friends had no trouble finding me.i wheeled it across creeks, the (oregon)dunes and lots of donuts-torture.get stuck you just get out and pick it up out of its ruts.traded it for a ford courier at a wrecking yard

mine had a cracked head the entire time i had it.i just loosened the radiator cap and put water in when it boiled out.drove her from state to state though with no probs.

Nice! I thought I was the only one that had that lame of a car! LOL!

I painted one big black stripe down the middle, my car was silver. I put the rally stripes on the fender too, Red ones. :D

It was a crusier tho man, it would do 70mph easy! Mine was a 4 speed also, I had to put a clutch in it when I first bought it, it was about 6inches in diameter! Lol

first car for me was a nasty green 1976 Chevy Vega Kammonback (it was the camping version to boot too lol) total junk, but still kind of a neat little car.

First car was a '74 Cutlass with Keystone Classics and a moon roof--it never ran.

First real car was a '69 VW fastback.

First Ford was a '64 Ford Fairlane.

First car I actually liked was a '74 Bonneville.

:icon_hornsup:My first car was 1974 2 door Pontiac Bonneville 400. I paid $271 for and it ran like a mother. ittunnel ram intake, 750 double pumper carb. I miss that car to this day. looking for another to buy and restore

Mine was an 86 Ford midsize LTD. Dad paid $75 for it. It had the nutless pos CFI 3.8 and the c5 auto. I beat the living piss out of it for a year and sold it for $100. I would pretend to rally race it down the dirt roads, neutral slammed it almost daily, but it just didn't want to die. It had probably the most comfortable interior of all the vehicles I have had.

first DD 04-06, dads 93 f150 that he bought brand new, 302, xlt 2wd, custom exhaust, rusted out:bawling:

first RBV project, 88 bronco 2, was supposed to be the new dd but failed inspection miserably after about $700 worth of parts and MY labor:buttkick:

my first car was a 76 impala 2door with a 350 i put fuel injection on it and an s trim

1989 Pontiac Grand Am LE, 4 door, 2.5L I4, 5 speed, fully loaded, 72,000 miles. I put a small turbo on it running 8# of boost, made for a quick little car. I liked playing with all the little ricers with it, they always wanted to race till they heard the BOV, and if they still wanted to go they got there ass handed to them. Then I put a slightly bigger turbo on it running 12# of boost, turns out that and a 9.0 CR don't mix... Blew it up with 72, 222 miles on it. Made me mad, then I had to junk it before I could finish fixing it... I WILL buy another one though.

71 Toyota Corolla 2 door station wagon with a 1600cc and a 4spd. piss yellow and geared like a mountain goat...... top speed 50 mph.......... oil pump died 3 weeks after i bought it and seized the engine. replaced with a 78 Datsun 810 wagon (pre runner to the maxima) 2.4L I-6, fuel injected with a 5spd, top speed .............125@ 6000 rpms in 4th gear.

My first "car" was a black 78 trans-am, it has a pontiac 400 in it and let me tell you that sucker would hall ass.

My first motorized vehicle was my truck an 86 ford ranger. It does not haul ass, in fact it has a hard time moving its ass some times. But is a ton of fun to drive in its own right.

My first was a 1987 Buick Century Custom with the good ol' "Iron Duke" I4. It was basically a tractor engine with emission controls..... cast iron block and cast iron heads. It pretty much turned into a rat rod.
