What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

So, I’ve thought of those, the problem is that they don’t flow the gear oil correctly. You need a cover that is similar to a stock one on the inside or it doesn’t flow the oil right. Not usually the end of the world on a crawler, but a potential problem for something that sees highway speeds regularly

I had heard of that before, but wasn't aware it was a problem for the RuffStuff one. Now I wonder if anyone makes something compatible or if I'd be better off doubling up. Stock cover inside a thick plate like that. With a hole drilled in the bottom of the stock cover to allow the drain to still work.

I saw a video awhile back, think it was Yukon or someone and they did clear plastic covers in the common shapes and showed ones foaming oil and starving bearings and stuff. Was a real eye-opener for me of what goes on in there

Drove it yesterday for the first time in about a month. put a good 50 miles or so on it. Drove it to work again today
