i half assed cleaning up the surface rust, going to do wrap instead of paint…
For some reason these sellers are a PITA and arent shipping my sending unit. 3rd time is a charm.
Literally i just need fuel system going and it should be daily ready. I fixed most of the leaks.

Blocking plate from china came and fits. Only 17$ too.

Virtually been doing the same thing! Just now seeing your thread. Awesome job! Here are some pics of my 2.8 rebuild. Bolts with red arrows came loose after first month of driving causing a bad vacuum leak! Retorqued with thread lock. Hit me up! I can help with any problems! I made my own EGR block off plate. Might invest in that one you got.

Does anyone happen to know what blocking plate fits the mechanical fuel pump? I want to remove it since it wont/ not

Last cylinder for valve stems, went well. I didnt have the tool i needed to move airbox out the way so cylinder 3 still has old seal on one of the valves. Others are complete. Should be a major improvement, the OG seals were brittle and broken.
Cork valve cover gasket as well.

I found this tool on ebay to do my valve seals. Did all of them easily!
