The 2019 'Loan Ranger', and 2019 Ranger Adventure

How exciting. Looking good.

Glad to see they hooked you up with a truck for the anniversary. From the way things are sounding at work for the rest of this year, I'm not likely to be able to partake in any of the festivities. We should be getting a major workload in the second half of the year that will be all hands on deck and lots of unwanted overtime for several months. That said I'm looking forward to following along in the threads and seeing how this truck does.

This Ranger needs a name to differentiate it from TRS-2:

TRS-2019
TRS-AV

IDK...

Just a stupid idea for the truck name: TRS-Loan Ranger or TRS-LR

I like... now get some rims that don't stick out like the stock ones, this way you don't have to worry about giving it back with scratched up rims :)

The Ranger is now called the 'Loan Ranger'.

I'm gonna play optimist here... Perhaps you should call it "Loan Ranger 1" in anticipation of the release of the Next Gen. Just sayin...

Not a lot of room between the tire and the steering knuckle on this truck....

Coopers or Dynapros?

Those are the Dynapros. I'm guessing about a 1/2 inch gap. The Coopers should be about 1/4 inch wider, but mathematically I'm thinking I'll only move the tire 1/8 inch closer to the knuckle.

1/8 Wheel spacers?

That is not a lot of mud/snow/ice clearance. I don't have anything that tight to know if it is an issue on a 4wd though.

Maybe they made it like that to scrape the tires clean:unsure:

In my experiance with blunt things that are close to wheels that isn't how works...

Not liking the minimal clearance there. Perhaps the talk about a more dished wheel is having even more merit than before...

I'm liking the new nick name for the T&E Ranger.

whoa,,,what is the spanner nut at the top of the knuckle???? alignment perhaps? or does that secure the ball joint?
