The 2019 'Loan Ranger', and 2019 Ranger Adventure

Looking better for sure but still has that classic Ranger rake..

I don't understand the rake. Is it possible it affects MPG?

The front of this truck needs to come up at least 1-1/2 inches.

I suspect that Ford lowers the front either due to achieving better crash ratings, or a tiny increase in MPG due to better results in the wind tunnel.

Or it could be set up so that the rear is sprung heavier so the trucks are ready to carry heavier loads.

I always thought the rear was higher to allow for squat when the truck was loaded. But who knows. I just hate that the rake is so much.

might be better mpg, with butt end higher its always going downhill... lol

But it doesn’t look like a squatting dog with something in the back.

Looking much better!

I like the level look, but some guys look like they have a fully loaded bed (squatting in the rear) with nothing in it,...because leveling kits.

The Loan Ranger got a set of Nilight 4-Inch 60-Watt LED Lights mounted in a set of their Universal Hood Clamp Mounts, and wired up with a harness that included a remote control. The remote has a feature that will make the lights flash in a S-O-S pattern in case you're ever stranded out somewhere at night.

Above you can see the bottom of the bracket clamped to the hood.

Above you can see where the harness laid between the fender, and a plastic cowl trim. A piece of foam fills this in, so I simply laid the harness under it.

Ford doesn't want me to drill in to this truck, so I zip tied the harness to these clips that are up by the cowl.

The remote had adhesive tape on the back of it, so I stuck it to the inner fender next to the battery.

There was some extra space and a hole to bolt the relay to on the battery tray.

Nice! Might need to put those on my Christmas List.

Have you had a chance to test them at night yet? What is the light like? Work light spread and illumination?

They're bright enough for me to use as headlights. I wanted something to give me a better field of light to the sides, and to light up tree branches. I ordered a lightbar. Stay tuned :giggle:

No tent yet?

I would think a RTT would be hard for a shipper to accidentally lose...
