My truck makes a vibration from about 45mph on up. It was shaking the steering wheel back and forth. I thought it was all in the front end so i pretty much rebuilt it. That didnt really fix it. i found out in the process that my tires were unbalanced so i fixed that. So the front end is solid, i checked for play in the drive line and its solid. I'm about ready to blow the damn thing up. Does anyone have any ideas what it is. Any help would be awesome. thx

driveshaft out of balance? were all 4 tires balanced?

did you check the u-joints in neutral? if you have an automatic you need to shift into neutral and not park.

Yeah, I'm hearing U-joints in this concern.

the front tires were rebalanced. The rear tires are like a week old and balanced where i bought em. I didnt check the u-joints in neutral and i shall do so tomorrow. Thanks for the help

Miles? My first BII started shaking and got so bad it was like sitting in a vibrating chair. Rear diff needed a rebuild.

Sure someone didn't leave a vibrating ahh....implement under your seat? :icon_rofl:

they could have balanced them wrong or a wheel weight could have come off. i've sent a few cars back to the tire shop to be checked out after i checked everything else.

the last comment we heard back was "it looked like they were balanced by 5yr olds"
