You might want to try putting a hose clamp or a zip tie at the base of the breather tube.

To restrict it? It's leaking where the house ends, so its passing the fluid up hill two feet to get out of the hose

Have you pulled the plug and checked the level? Have you had the rear end under water? Third members get really hot running on water and when the water boils the mixture of steam and oil will be pushed out the overflow.
I would pull the cover and look at what is (was) in there.
If all that is in there is normal lubricant, and the correct amount, there is no reason for it to boil out of the overflow.

To much of something in there!!

I think y'all might be onto something. The pumpkin is pretty warm. I have driven it through some mud holes too. I also have a different size spare on one side until I get tires. Time to service it I reckon

You have two sizes of tires on one axle and have been mudding? Then knowing that you bothered to get on here and ask WHY fluid is boiling out the overflow without telling us?

Like the others said, if you have been mudding you probly have some water in there, having two different size tires on it causes the axles to turn at different speeds causing excessive heat in the carrier.

You really are trying to kill it aren't you??
