The important thing, is to not lose the broken teeth.

You can put the broken teeth under your pillow, and the Tooth Fairy will leave you a quarter for each one.

drove the truck around the block. no clunk, no weird noises. gonna do a 30mile drive, then a 120mile drive, then drive consider driving 500miles to socal :eeek:
any weird driving motions i should do during the test trips? should i do like 30miles of stoplights? should i go get stuck in some mud?

Should be good to go, I wouldn't stress about it... when I broke a spider gear I was pulling a garage over in 2 low and the rope broke... changed spider gears and drove another like 80 thousand miles before I did an axle swap to bigger ones and lifted it...

just thought i would give an update for anyone who searched this thread
for reference on differentials.
iirc i posted similar pictures earlier in the thread and the teeth had similar wear which doesnt seem to have changed much.

the wear on the 'worm gear' seems to be consistent across every tooth.
the wear on the big gear is just on the two highlighted teeth.
the spider gears all look fine
the pictured debris was at the bottom of my gear oil.

omg that big gear wear was from me hitting it with an angle grinder to remove the crosspin LMAO
