Ok, so I underestimated the assault my spine would take when I bought my '02 4x4 XLT etx cab. :bawling:I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem on 99% of the roads but Houston doesn't seem to care about fixing roads.:icon_confused:

At 190K its probably time to replace the shocks. I want to be sure to get ones with the best ride quality. I don't do much off road or hauling, mostly street. bad streets at that:icon_bounceblue:! What do yall suggest?

Shocks should help.

Quite frankly though, I saw a much more dramatic improvement in ride quality after I replaced the ball joints. When LBJs are bad, every bump feels like a jolt. My $.02

Got Bilsteins

After doing due diligence on the internet (research), I decided on a set of Bilsteins :yahoo:4600 series or BE5-2794 & 5. or 24-185295.... I quit trying to make sence of the numbers. Just whatever the OEM recomendation was for the vehicle. I read a lot of good things for other shocks, but the over all impression was everybody, who was willing to pay for them, was happy with Bilsteins. So I hope the install goes smooth:icon_welder:
