Also check the timing with the knock sensor unplugged like was said at an idle you should get 20+ and off the scale at around 2500-3000 rpm. If the timing advances when you unplug the knock sensor it could be bad or loose they are picky on how much you need to torque it or it sends a false signal to the computer telling it to retard the timing too soon.

there is no carbon at all in the engine i had the head off and cleaned the pistons till i could see my face and same with the walls the head went to the shop to get cleaned and magged all came back well the knock sensor has not been checked yet that will be tomorrow.
