Started it up and 2wl low light on solid.

Did you mean to say 4wheel low? I don't believe you have either a switch position or indicator light for 2 wheel low. 2wheel low is attained by selecting 4 wheel low with the front hubs unlocked and the 4 wheel low light should be on if that is the case.

I like 2wd low. But definitely no indicator for that. It's handy for hooking up trailers by yourself and using the front porch like a dock.

That's my favorite mode for rock crawling and slow trail riding.

Mine is in 2lo about as often as it is in 2hi lol, it is a very under rated option. I wish my F-150 could do it.

Unfortunately I agree with @pjtoledo, there is more to a t-case low range and rear output... especially if it is lazy at shifting and might have hung up in 4hi for a bit.

Back at my cabin today, went into 4wl and climbed my hill twice, once with hubs locked. Seems fine.

On another note, my locking hubs seem to have lost whatever clips them in place. Ive read there is some weird tabs, can they be fixed or is there a better way?

That hold them on the hub when you remove the wheel?

Most pitch them and don't deal with them.

Yes, i can wiggle them and pop them off. Luckily i have those small hub caps on the alloy wheels so cant lose one.

Yes. The forward output shaft connects to the 4x4 stuff via a heavy-duty chain.
