On my 92 explorer there is a spring/clip/lock thingie that holds it onI’ve been playing with this for the past hour!
Sprayed it with WD40, still stuck.
Trying to get them off to repaint.

I sprayed some wd40 on it. I’ll try again in the morning.
It’s got some play up and down but feels like there’s something else keeping it from popping off even with the tab pulled all the way out.
I’ll try a pry bar with a wood block.
Thanks for the insight!![]()
