How did your ranger try to kill you today?

Looks like the lock nuts are both still there just loosened up a little bit and one of the bearings had enough... those dang bearings are so close together in the spindles...

Mine just tried to kill me by working really good and I was driving faster, that is until I heard the clinking noises in the rear diff on decel, I'm hoping it's not ring/pinion but probably is, at least 5.13's are still available for that...

I had a real bad fuel line leak in the engine area just below the Power Steering pump. Fuel was spraying all over the engine. It could have been lethal if this happened while on the road or highway. I'm glad I caught the leak in my driveway putting in a new starter.

The PITA got new shoes...

15x8 Jeep "Gamblers" wearing some generic 31x10.50 MT's

2" spacers from Titan Wheel Products all the way around to make up for the totally different backspacing.

Oops.
That was supposed to go in the "What did you do to your Ranger today?" thread.
But I guess it fits here too 🤷‍♂️

Would you like it moved?

My bed got me today going back on with 2 people. Granted it's probably a little taller than yours...
If I hadn't had my cut resistant gloves on, likely I'd be missing the end my left pinky. It's cut on both sides thru the glove. Right at the joint.

I’ll use the engine hoist to reinstall it.

Well, the 2011 left me stranded in Ohio township. Started right up, no problem at home this morning. Not so much after church.

It's getting fuel, so I'm going to have to methodically parts cannon it until it gets fixed and stays fixed. The heat issue complicates things. Starts up fine when cold, but if it doesn't sit long enough, it just stumbles. It could be the coil pack, the timing sensor, and/or the IACV from what I'm reading.

Once I get it home, I'll check spark. That will eliminate the coil pack. But that ain't happening today.
