Old Blue, my 2004 XLT 4x4 bit the dust at 327, 535 miles, timing gear chains. Sold her, ended up with old Red, a 1995 Ranger 2WD 5 speed on floor with 2300 fuel injected 4 cyclinder. She's banged and dented just like me. But she runs goo so far! She was FILTHY when I bought her, but some soap, wax and elbow grease took care of that. Odomoter does not work, so I figure it is unhooked, I'll be wanting to get that going along with some other things,. Thanks for the website and the forums!

Welcome. We appreciate pics of the survivors....post them up!

Everyone here has had an “old” ranger. They are great.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm slowly but surely tweaking here and there. Waiting on my Chilton's manual to arrive. Might take awhile, the post office likes to send it to the wrong central office. Oh well.
