Why not? I'm waiting for my 4.0 to take a dump and then planning for a 7.3L swap.

I think I'll be waiting awhile

Umm... I'm going to have to ask the obviously stupid question. Why?

Answer is in why people use V6s, V8s, V10s or v12s in cars, a small 4 cylinder engine works just fine, gets good MPG and it gets you from point A to point B just fine, so why bother with bigger more powerful engines?

Answer is sometimes getting to point B is not the "point", lol, or the only point.
Sometimes it is about the journey as well not just the destination.

More power, may not be everyone's cup of tea, but some do like it and want it.
And some also like the "journey" of building something unique.

We could all drive white cars, or all red, or all grey, what's the point of having different colors?
Doesn't make car run better, no real benefit at all to having a different color cars, well maybe in the Walmart parking lot, lol.

Just a choice people want.

I'm trying to find a 4bt for my grimlen it came with that slant 6 inline. Now it's on a s10 chassis just trying to get the 4bt with a chevy bellhouseing adapter.

Rebel if you find a 4bt the cummins use the same bellhouseing on all there earlier small diesel like 10L and down its 6 bolts in a trapezoid shape.
Big thing it flywheel to transmission is important they are hard to find.

I have not seen pictorial evidence of a 4BT swap on a ranger earlier than 1998 or explorer earlier than 1995.

If you've ever done a V8 swap or set an Explorer 5.0 engine in a 1998-up ranger engine bay you'd understand that the later engine bay is MUCH easier to work with...
