Oh well............. we all get the gist, but you realize that if we are in rbv's everybody will be dead but we will still be cruising.

I really don't know If i want to be stuck living (even in an rbv) with a huge sausage fest that us cruising would be.
I may have to rethink my end of world plans...... or kidnap a fat chick, and duct tape her to the bed of my truck.... so I can eat her if she dies.... and if she lives I'll have a skinny chick because there wont be much food around.

That's great for them to be able to go, I on the other hand am going to be putting one kid through college at that point and paying child support for another. I won't have the money to go even if I saved every penny from now till then. It just won't be enough.

Want to know how my parents helped me go through college so far?

My dad lets me borrow his credit card at the beginning of each semester to buy books, gas, and various odds and ends with so that I have what I need. But only with the agreement that once I get my money from my student loans (that I, not him, am paying back) and my grants I will pay him back in full. They also gave me 200 dollars over the summer as a graduation present.

They don't pay for everything I want. They don't even pay for everything I need. The truck I drive to college in the fall and spring is the same truck they bought me for 900 dollars when I turned 16. I have since put at least 800 dollars into it. The car I drive in the winter, I am currently paying a loan on. I plan to have that paid off by the end of February. I got the loan in November.

I'm on my own car insurance. It's pretty steep, for a 18 year old male with a bad accident history and a "sporty" car.

I drive about 500-1000 miles a week. I pay for all of that gas myself.

And I do all of this with a minimum wage job (7.25) averaging 16-22 hours a week.

The only thing that I don't pay for is food when I'm at home, and normal household bills. Hell, I even buy my own deodorant and toothpaste.

Honestly? I'm glad that I do. I'm proud that I can take care of myself, and I love the independent feeling I have. It's made me a better person. I love my parents for not giving me everything I desire.

Cut the cord, make them pay for their own crap. If they struggle, lend a helping hand.

The worlds not ending, but I'm down for the trail ride. Although we should split it into separate groups, I don't want to drive an ungodly distance just to break my truck. East coast/west coast perhaps?

I worked my way through college and it sucked, I barely had enough money for beer, I was so broke I had to study!!!!!

My parents borrow money from me now, and I'm such a tightass I don't even have television...... just a t.v and every season of dukes of hazzard.
