Even if you had that Sherman in your avatar the govt would squish you like a gnat. They don't even use those things for target practice anymore. Stockpile all of the assult rifles and crap you want for a revolution, and you will still easily be outclassed.

If there was a just reason for a revolution in this country that a major part of the population agreed with, I highly doubt the government would be able to convince the military (made up of men and women of this country) to stand up to and possibly kill their own people. So, the revolution would only be against those stupid enough to go against their own people who are fighting for what's right, and the politicians who started this whole mess.

Otherwise, I was planning on taking on an Abrams with the Sherman... Oh wait, I'm not completely stupid.

Sure is, and it would last quite a bit longer on the same amount of gas (regular gasoline, not jet fuel). Cheaper to maintain too...

Still isn't worth it though.

I ask b/c well 1. I do not make that much money and want to get good deals 2. to be able to purchase firearms legally over the net.

i dont know if it's a state law or national law, but i was lookin at getting an FFL for myself here in north carolina. from what i read, unless you are planning on opening a gun shop and selling guns, you cant get an FFL anymore. and even if you are planning on opening a gun shop, it is extremely expensive.

i'm not 100% on this, and like i said, not sure if it's a national law or just NC.

i'd say go to a gun shop, make friends with the owner, ask him to order guns for you with his FFL. he's loosing money, well he isnt making any money, in the end so you need to be real good buddies with him

That is one of the things I like over here....Not too much violent crimes. Every once in a while you will hear about a shooting, but not as often as you would living in the states.....But laws here about firearm ownership are pretty strict.

The government has made it more difficult for individuals to get an FFL dealer license. I know a guy who owned a small shop for awhile, he ended up giving up his license because it started to get too expensive for a small shop to survive. (They were doing inspections of shops and demanded that you have all guns locked in a safe outside of store hours, bars on the windows, high-end security system, steel entry/exit doors, etc.) Selling 4-6 guns a month just wasn't enough turnover. Plus, believe it or not, but there is not much of a markup on most firearms, he let me see the books before, and pretty much anything sold by one of the big stores like Dicks or Wal-Mart were being sold retail below his dealer cost.)



Oh, and the gun laws on the books for this country are quite strict, there's over 1,000 pages of gun laws in this country right now. The problem is, not all of them are enforced, some conflict with others, and nobody really knows them all without a massive book to reference.

So you don't have a problem with U.N. peace keeping troops and foreign troops in our country, that are NOT pledged to uphold the constitution? Kinda like what we have done in Iraq and Afghanistan, do we agree there is a double standard?

Not true, I was a major supporter of Anarchy, but as communism looked good on paper, so is true with the Anarchy rule, there are just too many evil men powered by GREED and covetousness for Anarchy to work.

I would say that the world is going to be FORCED into socialism, which today even the U.S.A. is going socialist(think health care and general obamaisims) Since the U.S.S.R. collapsed, socialism has quietly expanded throughout the world.

EDIT:: after reading thousands of posts, and finally realizing Ive put out over 1400 mostly in threads like these, I have come to the conclusion that it will be a TRS member that officially starts the next American Revolution,(not to be associated with that generic General Motors crap)
