Battling Electrical Problems

88 wouldnt be MAF regardless. That didnt hit till 90 IIRC

@ty.forestcom best thing to do is just pull your ECM out (it’s easy) and get the numbers off it....or post a pic
Sweet, here’s what I see. Mine doesn’t match any on rockauto

If your emission sticker says federal and you have a manual (now) just get any 88 ECM

Actually according to google your current ECM is federal

I was under the impression it was MAF back to 88 in Cali. Sorry about that.

Still stands as a way to tell on the 2.9 for 90 I guess.

Big news everybody. Ecu is good, may still replace with a manual one in the future, does it really make a difference?

I powered an injector wire with a fuse strait to battery. Cranks right up and stays running. I somehow need to find where they lead to I can make a permanent fused power from battery. Only weird thing, usually she starts by just touching the key. Now it starts like a regular truck, could this just be its cold and has been cranked a bunch the last few days?

Being banked, wouldn't that only power one side? So running on 3 cylinders.
