Back to the question. The diagram. Plug side is 1-2-3 and is nearest to the engine when installed. So mentally rotate the diagram's coil pack rectangle 180 degrees.

That's the explanation. The diagram does not show the orientation of the coil pack relative to the engine.

the engine order is fixed.


the coil pak can be mounted anywhere on the truck.....upside down in the cab even.

all you need to know is where 1 is on an edis coil pak.

if you know where 1 is......you know where 23456 are. whether it is a f150.....a taurus....a mustang....or a ranger.
