Need some help diagnosing a no start condition on my 87 Ranger.
2.9L rwd 5spd
It cranks - sounds healthy
No spark & no fuel
The fuel pumps are not priming when they are wired to the key and not priming when they are wired directly to the battery either.
No spark on crank at all.
Vehicle cranks and cranks no issues.
Prior owner states that he just replaced both fuel pumps and the TFI and was still not getting it to start.
There is a brand new battery in it. Upon turn of the key I get NO dash lights, nothing.
He gave me 2 PCMs, neither work - same condition on both.
Any suggestions on where to look next?
Sounds like potentially could be the ignition switch?
