1993 Splash build

They were protected with a couple rags stuffed down in them. Do you think they needed any more?

Yes, sand will get by rags easily. I can see multiple areas that got blasted that shouldnt have....as SVT said, best to leave the old seals in place. Id use some RTV on the outer surface of your seals when you place them for insurance.

Ordered my overhaul kit and other various new/used parts from Cobratransmission.com. They're based in FL. Customer service was great when I called them. Nice thing is, they accept paypal. As far as I know, they carry parts for any transmission, t-case, and various hub assembly parts you can imagine.

Not related to what your doing at all but are the step side beds fiberglass sides? Im picking up a parts truck for the bed and wheels but its a step side and im worried about it cracking.

All Ranger stepppies are fiberglass bedsides and steel Inner skins & floor

Yup. Fiberglass. I've repaired mine more times than I'd care to count. It's coming off the first chance I get (whether it's a standard bed or have enough money to build a tubing bender and buy some toooob)

Alright thanks guys. Im buying the truck for the rims and tires they just so happened to be on a ranger with a box that i also need lol. 38x11r16 boggers on stock everything and a 3.0 :s

Brad, you think ct would have a 4x4 output shaft and tailhousing for a 4R70W trans? I have a 2wd trans I'm wanting to rebuild a spare trans I have and convert it to 4wd...

Wow...I just opened up a sealed and packaged blind hole bearing puller kit from harbor freight to find that it's been used. One of the pullers tips is galled beyond use...WTF.

it's harbor freight dude.....a chinaman must have used it on his rice burner before boxing it up and sending it over. they'll take it back

****ing ridiculous though. I went on my lunch break so I didn't have to waste time after work to do this.

I kinda like the free rental policy at advance and autozone. Keep it as long as you need or forever. On the flipside, take it back and get your money back.

I'm going to, as soon as I use the damn thing for what I need it for. Unfortunately, Advance auto parts doesn't have this tool, nor does anyone else in the area.
